The calendar page in June shows a catalog title by Dallapé, Stradella, circa 1920, and a catalog backside with a view of the Dallapé factory.
Founded in 1876 in Stradella near Pavia, Dallapé was one of Italy's best known and best accordion factories.
At the end of 2010, the production was closed, the know-how, or the legendary Dallapé sound was bought by the Japanese company Roland and is used in their digital accordions.
Interesting: There is a special relationship with Hohner. The famous accordion designer Giovanni Gola (1907-1978) learned and worked at Dallapé in Stradella, before joining the Matth. Hohner AG in Germany in 1952.
