The calendar page in May shows four out of a total of ten cardboard figures intended for display advertising in the mid-1920s. The height of the standing figures was about 18 to 23 centimeters.
A Hohner catalog from 1925 (pictorial motif in March of this calendar) praises the new advertising material in words and pictures: The "Card Board Stand Figures" of the "International 'Hohner' Orchestra" are described individually. The following is to be read about the four persons portrayed on the calendar motif Mai (from left): "Red Skin: with a Mouth Organ, South Africa: with a Concertina, India: with a Mouth Organ, Holland: with an Accordion."
